Oda Nobuhiro (織田 信広) was the eldest son of Oda Nobuhide and served the Oda clan under his brother Oda Nobunaga.

Biography[]

After the death of his father Oda Nobuhide, Sessai Taigen of the Imagawa clan led an army against his heir, Oda Nobuhiro, who was besieged inside Anjō Castle. The siege was lifted after an agreement was made that the Oda should return the young hostage Tokugawa Ieyasu to the Imagawa[1] with the release of Oda Nobuhiro.[2]

In 1556, Oda Nobuhiro undertook a siege on Oda Nobunaga at Kiyosu Castle, concurrent with the uprising led by Oda Nobuyuki. The confrontation at Kiyosu proved inconclusive, and Nobuhiro subsequently made peace with Oda Nobunaga.[3]

In 1574, Oda Nobuhiro was killed fighting the Ikkō-ikki of Nagashima.[4]
